Every day, children use technology for school, entertainment, communication, and learning. But knowing how to use a phone or watch videos online is not the same as having strong digital skills.
At Assured Heart Foundation, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn how to use technology confidently, safely, and responsibly.
That’s why we created the Digital Futures Academy.
We provide hands-on digital literacy training for children ages 6–17, helping them develop practical skills they can use in school today and in their future careers.
What Students Will Learn
Our program includes training in:
- Computer Basics
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Internet Skills
- Email Basics
- Internet Safety
- YouTube Safety
- Digital Citizenship
- AI Basics
- Creative Technology
Students will learn how to complete schoolwork using technology, search for information safely, recognize scams and online threats, communicate appropriately online, and use artificial intelligence responsibly.
Who Can Participate?
Digital Futures Academy is designed for children ages 6-17.
Our learning levels include:
Ages 6-8: Beginner
Ages 9-12: Intermediate
Ages 13-17: Advanced
Lessons are taught in a hands-on environment so students can practice the skills they are learning.

Our goal is to help children become more than technology consumers. We want them to become confident users, creative thinkers, safe digital citizens, and responsible learners.
